Long story short, I got my husband a puppy on Mother's Day, so he got me something for Father's Day. It appears it is now an on going joke of sorts..

Anyway, I kept moaning and hinting that I would LOVE a new camera, even a small point and shoot to help with my lack of stress relief.. Can you guess what I got?

A CAMERA!

A point and shoot, that takes fabulous pictures! Even at full zoom the subjects come out clear and sharp. I am so happy! I even already used it for a new addition to my gallery.

But with a twist!

So as you see, I have put a few more pictures up. Makes me happy, but what makes me sad at the same time is that the only way I could get those pictures is by finding an old file, and using the camera on my phone. It doesn't do great, but some times does the job. Good news is that now I have my OWN computer to play around on, so even when I don't have new pictures, I can play with old ones!

Literally. It's a new year around the corner. Time for a new look, a new start, new experiences, friendships/relationships.

I took the opportunity to update my gallery look. I have seen others do this, but I never had the time to do so myself. I put all my work into seperate folders. Everything in my "Featured" will be my newest work. Not sure how long they will stay there but long enough I suppose. I had tried to do a themed project where I had to find certain things of different catagories, and I'm hoping the folders will keep me organized and focused on it.

So every one enjoy, and hopefully this year will be better artistically too.

I had to pawn my camera for reasons left unmentioned, and it really bums me out. Taking pictures was my outlet, and life has been so damn stressful for me and mine that I have needed it. Who would have thought that something so materialistic was as essential as air...

It doesn't help that the holidays are coming up either. Not only do pictures help me, but the memories they capture are irreplaceable and precious to me. So much so that scrapbooks and photo albums are included in my list of "What I'm Gonna Grab" should something happen. My kids are on there somewhere too.

So that's all I can really say for now.

Sorry nothing has been on for awhile... I can't really post anything and drawing isn't in my veins lately...

Ya know, I could be smart and post one picture a day like my title says... But I get so excited about actually having something to post that I throw it all up at once. Better than never I suppose. I actually had to go back through my files to see if there was anything I missed that I could post- tweeked or otherwise- since my camera is out of commission at the moment. Let me tell you, I feel like there is a part of me missing without it... I never thought I would ever miss a material possession. This is killing me. Its like a drug that I can never have again. A feeling to never again experience. I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm heartbroken, but damn near...
